Exactly 75 years ago the Overlord operation was also famous as the "D-day". In the early hours of dawn, the allied armies invaded the "Fortezza Europe" from the sea to free it from the Nazis. The first to reach the enemy were the American and British paratroopers followed by the landings of thousands of allied soldiers on the beaches of Normandy. Here they collided with the excellent German war machine and followed hard battles with many losses on both sides.
We have chosen this symbolic date to inaugurate our new website in honor of all the heroic soldiers who fought with courage and spirit of sacrifice to free the world from Hitlerian madness.
